A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has gone beyond over one million informational booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas.
